CorreMiTierra was born from the deepest part of the heart
CORREMITIERRA It started as the dream of a married couple who are now parents of five and saw sports as a way to share and enjoy life as a family. It was also the perfect opportunity to teach their children to stay active in a healthy way, live a healthy lifestyle, learn how to win and lose, pace themselves, and eat properly.
That’s how, in 2011, we launched the first CORREMITIERRA, with the main goal of promoting sports and raising awareness about healthy living—by bringing together families, friends, sports fans and non-fans alike, regardless of fitness level: beginners, intermediate runners, or advanced athletes. Over time, CORREMITIERRA also became a way to boost sports tourism in each city.

CORREMITIERRA wasn’t born from a commercial opportunity or from deciding to jump on the healthy-living trend. It comes from 30 years of building a company. At JAO, through the production of major events and experiences, we’ve generated thousands of direct and indirect jobs and contributed to the country.
We don’t just produce sports events like CORREMITIERRA and the Rose Run—we also work with major brands nationally and internationally. We’ve created media focused on business growth, and we’re also authors of the books Overnight Success and The Art of Enjoying Running.
Our experience has allowed us to build our own service and experience model, so we can give our community the very best of us.

More and more, the community and awareness around living with healthier habits and a positive mindset keep growing. Sports, good nutrition, and more tools to help prevent mental health issues like stress, anxiety, and depression are being promoted.According to the World Health Organization (WHO), before the pandemic more than 500 million people were affected by at least one of these conditions; after the pandemic, those figures tripled.
On the other hand, companies have come to understand that encouraging employees to take part in events like CORREMITIERRA brings major benefits: it reduces absenteeism, since training and exercise strengthen the immune system; and employees also become more creative and disciplined.
Families—and especially kids—are our special guests. We’ve been lucky to watch children in different cities grow up through CorreMiTierra. When a child gets the chance to enjoy the race and cross the finish line, they never want to stop doing it again.
Kids who started running with their parents in CORREMITIERRA at age 3 or 4… today, as young adults aged 18 or older, they’re running longer distances.
CorreMiTierra is a for-profit sports event aimed at ensuring the company’s long-term sustainability and creating stable jobs—contributing to the city and the country as entrepreneurs and business owners. Our main goal is to promote sports and raise awareness of healthy living among everyday people, so they can change their habits and improve their environment.
This lion is the icon that represents values like respect, power, strength, courage, resilience, and dignity. It connects with people in a social, respectful, and responsible way.
The lion and the lioness are a pair that works as a team, with strength and complementary skills. Lions protect their pride with determination—just like we take care of our pride: the runners.
We’re united by resilience which helps us move forward hand in hand with people like you, who support us, inspire us, and encourage us to keep giving only our best just as we always have.
